Write a story around a moment that filled you with optimism and hope for the future.

The whole world survives on hope and why not, it is something which does not cost you a penny and yet gives you immense power and happiness and peace of mind. Apparently, arduous times teach us a lesson of life and so being optimistic is a tonic to survive and get away from difficult times.
There is always light on the other side of the tunnel, so never lose hope or be apprehensive because of the darkness in your life. Always have faith that hard times are not permanent. And when this positive thought takes asylum in our mind, nothing can break the faith and will power.
Having said that, sometimes a small incident breaks your faith and a biggest incident still keeps your faith intact. It is an individual’s perspective altogether.
Soniya and Chandu were married for 6 years and didn’t have kids. There wasn’t a single doctor in Bangalore that they hadn’t visited, Spending lakhs in the treatments, visiting every temple and praying hard.
“I think we should visit a fertility specialist”, Soniya said, with tears rolling down her cheeks. After 2-3 cycles of treatment, the doctors would refer her to a different doctor and again everything from scratch. They were exasperated and were losing hope.
One fine day, after lot of suggestions and pressure from family and friend, they decided to consult a fertility specialist. After listening to their part of the story, Doctor was quite positive, that she will conceive soon and this brought a ray of hope. After a month’s treatment and medications, finally she conceived. Her happiness knew no bounds and she broke the news to all the family and friends.
But as they say, when the God has a different and better plan for you, he makes you realize that, by dropping a bomb on you. And so he does. After 3 months of pregnancy, she realized that the heartbeat of the foetus has stopped. She cried out loudly. And this time she lost hope completely. She would not eat anything and went into depression altogether.
However, after 6 months, Chandu tried to explain her,” This is not the end of life and let us give it try once again.” This time, she was totally pessimistic and just to keep her husband happy, she agreed to it. While they were waiting at the reception for their turn she saw something which completely changed her view. She saw an aged couple, close to 50 years old, waiting there. She thought of breaking the ice and listen to their story. When she heard their story, tears literally rolled down her cheeks.
This lady has been married for 15 yrs and had close to 6 miscarriages. Some on the initial months and went until delivery. She delivered 3 dead babies. But still didn’t lose hope and wanted to give it a try a last time.

This inspired her and she thought of going ahead with a positive attitude. As the doctor says, only when you are positive, you can conceive. Never let negative thoughts come into your mind, when you are planning for a baby. So with a new energy and optimism, she went through another set of treatment and medication and conceived soon after.
She was exuberant and positive throughout her pregnancy and finally delivered a beautiful angel. Looking at her, she realized and felt proud that she took a right decision. And now she had a little angel, her bundle of joy, who filled her life with optimism and a hope for the future.
